At home & in the woods - Family Photography in Devon

Spring is most definitely in the air now and I hope you are all enjoying some glorious sunshine. This morning we finally saw the hedgehogs that visit our garden, snuffling on the lawn. Just as the sun was coming up they were heading off to bed. My spring and summer season is fit to burst with wonderful shoots but I am now taking bookings from mid September onwards for family shoots amongst the crispy leaves. It feels a bit strange to thinking ahead to autumn just as summer is creeping in but that is how I have to plan my year. Autumn is my favourite time of year to shoot family sessions. The colours and the cosiness, plus the early sunsets means the little ones don’t have to stay up late to enjoy golden hour.
