Family Photography at Bantham- The Hooke Family

Last summer Anna got in touch to see if she could squeeze in a family photoshoot whilst we had the beautiful warm weather gracing our south coast shores. When she told me she wanted a nostalgic feel I knew this one was going to be my cup of tea. I wanted to breathe life into the images with a sense of timelessness and real energy. Her beautiful family had the most lovely couple of hours at the beach and did what they do best. Explore, run, chase and most importantly played. I loved that because of the wild hot winds, we had dusty air refracting the light in the dunes. Whipped up white linen dresses and tangled hair enhanced their carefree nature in the photographs. So much beauty in these moments.
