Becoming a Mother… a maternity shoot in Cornwall

Maternity Photography Cornwall

The journey towards motherhood is well under way for my little sister; the last few weeks of pregnancy, when time moves too fast and oh so slow, just like in the early days of motherhood. Full of paradoxes and the biggest of feelings.

To celebrate these fleeting days of pregnancy we had a little play at Fistral Beach - a place that will always have a piece of my heart. The little stretch of coastline from Bude down towards Porthtowan is probably the greatest area on Earth. I think of all the bays like characters - each and every one has it’s own particular style and energy, unlike the next one along and the next one. It is pure magic. Just like how unique and miraculous every single soul that is born onto earth. I imagine like Fistral Beach the new arrival will be playful and unpredictable like the sea, with skin as soft as the breeze and a smile as bright as the setting sun. Love you Tasha and your little one. xx

If you are thinking of having some portraits done during your pregnancy please do get in touch, so you can look back in wonder at what your incredible body did.
